Corporate Interest

Looks like the folks at Publix are interested in my thoughts about baggers:

On the off chance there are any other visitors from the Publix corporate offices, please also see my thoughts about deli workers who sneak black olives into pre-made wraps.

Thanks for coming by, y'all! Always happy to offer feedback.

Whoa, that's really cool! Could be a disgruntled worker or a PR staff person!

I don't understand the picture. I see Ambulance Driver posts his interesting screen shots like that, but I don't know how to do it. I wish I could, because I often wonder who is reading me and how they found me. Any suggestions on how to do that?

I read both of your other posts, and I am sorry you hate olives. Everybody has their own personal nails on a chalkboard. Mine happens to be styrofoam. I hate the feel of it and the sound of it. I think Dante's 7th Hell is a room where you have to listen to 5 fat guys scraping plastic spoons into strofoam bowls to get the last vestiges of ice cream out! [shudder]

Anyway, if you can't stand olives, how do you like your martinis?! I like all olives, and just went to a greek restraunt that had pitted olives in my meal. Those were really good!

I like the idea that that employee should get a promotion to marketing! That'd be quite the carrer jump, from minimum wage high school kid to a white collar job!

Stan, it totally amused me, LOL!

Scott, I use Sitemeter. Go to sitemeter.com, and partway down the page on the lefthand side, midway down a list of links, there's an option to sign up for sitemeter basic, which is free.

To track who visits you, you'll install some script on your blog. You'll also be able to install a little nifty widget (like mine that says "Sitemeter" on it, located directly above my Twitter widget).

Sitemeter has many ways to view your visitors. This particular one I found by clicking on the "By Referrals" option. I saw someone had googled Publix and my blog came up, so I checked to see where they were from. Lo and behold, they were from the Publix Corporate Complex in Lakeland, FL!

Which just made me laugh and laugh and laugh.

I think it's making the rounds. I saw someone up in Smyrna, Georgia had visited here from the same Google search as well. And I'm fairly sure there are Publixes in Smyrna.

Martinis? Uhm, I prefer them to be chocolate. That usually doesn't involve the Pitty/Pitted "Vegetable" of DOOM.

This would be why I tend to drink mostly Diet Coke :)

Thanks for the info. I'll give that a shot. I just noticed I missed a couple of your posts. You are posting 'em faster than I can read 'em!

For some reason I'm on a major blogging roll. Could be because it's hard to smoke and type at the same time ;)

Glad to see your lack of smoking has inspired you to blog even more! When I quit smoking back when I was a senior in college (for the first time - I quit for good a couple of years later) I found it hard to write anything as I used to use the smoking as part of my creative process!
