Corporate Interest

Looks like the folks at Publix are interested in my thoughts about baggers:

On the off chance there are any other visitors from the Publix corporate offices, please also see my thoughts about deli workers who sneak black olives into pre-made wraps.

Thanks for coming by, y'all! Always happy to offer feedback.

Whoa, that's really cool! Could be a disgruntled worker or a PR staff person!

Stan, it totally amused me, LOL!

Scott, I use Sitemeter. Go to sitemeter.com, and partway down the page on the lefthand side, midway down a list of links, there's an option to sign up for sitemeter basic, which is free.

To track who visits you, you'll install some script on your blog. You'll also be able to install a little nifty widget (like mine that says "Sitemeter" on it, located directly above my Twitter widget).

Sitemeter has many ways to view your visitors. This particular one I found by clicking on the "By Referrals" option. I saw someone had googled Publix and my blog came up, so I checked to see where they were from. Lo and behold, they were from the Publix Corporate Complex in Lakeland, FL!

Which just made me laugh and laugh and laugh.

I think it's making the rounds. I saw someone up in Smyrna, Georgia had visited here from the same Google search as well. And I'm fairly sure there are Publixes in Smyrna.

Martinis? Uhm, I prefer them to be chocolate. That usually doesn't involve the Pitty/Pitted "Vegetable" of DOOM.

This would be why I tend to drink mostly Diet Coke :)

For some reason I'm on a major blogging roll. Could be because it's hard to smoke and type at the same time ;)

Glad to see your lack of smoking has inspired you to blog even more! When I quit smoking back when I was a senior in college (for the first time - I quit for good a couple of years later) I found it hard to write anything as I used to use the smoking as part of my creative process!
