My 2004 Campaign Poster

No, I'm not kidding. Yes, this was the poster I displayed during the '04 elections.

I'm an equal party offender. And at this point? I'd trust these guys more than the folks we currently have in office.

Ha ha...that's making me regret my earlier comment about the Democrats.

I guess it's the same thing up here, you know? All politicians suck.

We have to have some form of government, though? Oh crap...I'm breaking my own rule that I mentioned below...I'm talking politics.

Dummkopf.

Well, I'm breaking my own rule by even briefly blogging about politics.

Love that pic, though. I found it on televisionwithoutpity.com, via one of their pixel challenges.

It never failed to amuse my co-workers, regardless of their affiliation. Hey, works for me!

P.S. Extra points for spelling "dummkopf" correctly!

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Or just the insults? ;)

LOVE the campaign poster; how could I not? I am an avid Trekkie (especially of the original series!). Kirk and Spock make a great pair of candidates. I'd certainly trust my planet to them!

Nope...just some broken "Francais" from what I remember from school but only English...

TZ, hey, thanks for stopping by! Yeah, I'm an admitted Trekkie. I have no shame. My husband and I nearly screamed when our local TV station that had been running Voyager re-runs in the same timeslot for, like, YEARS, just cut them out with no warning.

HOW am I to get to sleep without Chakotay? Idiots.

And Maui, yeppers! Of course, we'd need a fast-forward for Kirk when he was doing his long, scenery chewing speeches (with a "slow" option for when he bursts through a line of dialogue at the speed of light between the Highly. Punctuated. Pronouncements.)

PA, ah, gotcha. My second language is German. It's not great and I'm not fluent, but it's hella lot better than my Spanish (which would actually have been USEFUL down here).

I also speak a little Japanese. Not too terribly much -- just enough to ask where the restroom is and then get terribly lost attempting to locate it.
