That dog was stubborn as a mule. Actually, that's not fair to the mule, he was that bad. Every night he'd go in the crate (it was a good size too), every morning we'd drag the crate out of the apartment to hose it and the dog down, because invariably he'd take a dump, then walk in circles and track it all over the crate, himself, and the surrounding area. This went on for months, I am not kidding. We got him at the beginning of the summer, so the missus was around during the day, but come fall and everyone was back at work, it went to twice a day. Hose everything down in the morning, hose everything down in the afternoon. He was so difficult. Never did get used to the crate either. I think he broke us more than the other way around. Silly old boy, I sure miss him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31322943.post-12283376063231402262008-02-04T14:57:00.000-05:002008-02-04T14:57:00.000-05:00Sheet rock you say? The housebreaking wasn't too bad, but puppy-proofing is impossible. She eats sheet-rock! Just ate a plain hole, right through the wall! We've decided that if we ever get another dog we'll find one that is a year or two old and hopefully past this stage already.Tycho Beresfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17377616049599620842noreply@blogger.com
