Quote from HP 7

I'm really trying to be good about no spoilers, so see the first comment if you want to see the quote. I don't *think* it's a spoiler, but I do want to be careful in case anyone feels it is...

Okay, here's the quote:

Radio Show Talk Host, referring to Voldemort:

He can move faster than Severus Sanpe confronted with shampoo when he wants to...

Gigglechoke!

That said, I do have a sort of unholy crush on Alan Rickman. Dude kicks ass.

My copy of The Deathly Hallows arrived this morning by owl! I haven't started it yet, am saving it for later today when I can really concentrate! (Have a barbecue to go to this afternoon). Will dive in tonight!!! However, I feel a twinge of regret, just like in one of the comic strips today, in which the girl is holding her Harry Potter book sadly and the mother says something like "Yes, I know, it's sad that it's the last Harry Potter book you'll read. But you knew this when you started the series!" So true. If she sticks to her word and doesn't write another sequel, then this is the last time I can anticipate the joy of starting a brand new Harry Potter book...

Maui, I know. That's one reason I let my elder son come to the release. It's positively The. Last. Time.

He was diagnosed with strep yesterday. So of course, we're at the release and we ran into his pediatrician. One of her nurse practitioners had seen and diagnosed him, so she wasn't aware, but after I told her (and also shared that he'd had no fever, etc.), it was all good.

And now I'm 3/4 of the way through, and am torn between ripping through to the end or just relaxing and reading slowly. Because, well, it's the end.

I laughed so hard when I read that quote!! I too have a weird crush on Alan Rickman. I am also glad that I can finally peek at your spoiler comments. I didn't get to start my book until Sunday after noon. I ripped through it in eight hours thanks to my husband taking over kid care. Now I will have to wait months to read it again since my husband's speed of reading is glacial. I want to go through and read the whole series straight through.

Awesome Mom, I know! I want to read it again myself... the entire series. I have to wait a bit, though, because my mother will be reading the new book next and she is somewhat like your husband in her reading speed.

No more new Harry. Drat.
